Melbourne Shwetambar Jain Sangh (MSJS) is pleased to inform that the Chaitra Maas Navpadji Oli starts from Wednesday, 25th March 2026 to Thursday, 2nd April 2026 (from Chaitra Sud 7 to Chaitra Sud 15).

As per Jainism, Navpadji Oli is considered as Shashwati Parva. It means Navpadji Oli festival exist in all time cycles (past, present and future).

During these nine days, one should do Aayambil - which means - Eat once a day in one sitting- a simple spice-free food, boiled or cooked without milk, curd, ghee, oil, green/raw vegetables, fruits, dry fruits and sugar.

To celebrate this occasion, MSJS has organised Samooh Snatra Pooja and Samooh Aayambil at MSJS Centre as per the below details:.

Important Information :

• Please come in Pooja clothes to participate in Samooh Snatra Pooja. 
• To enable all Sadharmik to participate in Samooh Snatra Pooja, MSJS has made arrangements for Aayambil as well as normal meals (Lunch). RSVP is required for all meals.
• RSVP will close on Thursday, 26th March 2026 @ 9:00PM
• Parking: All attendees are requested to park in appropriate areas around the MSJS Centre while strictly following council parking rules and permit requirements. Please refer to the parking map here
