Brisbane Jain Sangh was formed in August 2009 to congregate practice and promote Jainism in Brisbane. Though the charter and mission are still evolving, the broad perspective is to provide a strong religious platform for all jains residing in Brisbane.

Since its inception, BJS has grown by leaps and bounds organizing various religious activities. Though BJS has started with few members connecting with each other over Paryushan Maha Parva, it now has more than 80 members brought together to find and engage in monthly events including Snatrapooja, Bhakti Sandhya, Bhaav Yaatra, Jain Quiz and Samuh Ayambil.
