MSJS has always encouraged young children to learn and practice principles of Jainism which help them become Sushravak / Sushravika. Since last four years during all major events, MSJS has given opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge gained by young children in Pathshala by way of individual or group activity and/or competition. Considering overwhelming participation, success of such initiatives for young children and feedback received from parents, this year Paryushan Committee has decided to provide similar opportunity once again during this Paryushan.
This Paryushan, we would like to encourage our young children to participate in Gahuli OR Colouring competition. The competition will take place on Saturday, 12th September 2015.
Gahuli Competition: This will encourage your child to learn the way how we do Gahuli (Sathiya) using Akshat (Rice) in Ashtaprakari Pooja.
Colouring Competition: This will help child to recognize the colour, line, shape and form. It will increase their creativity to bring colours to the sketch based on Jain principles.
As a token of appreciation each participant will be presented with a participation gift and the best 3 performances (in each age group) will beawarded with prize. All parents should encourage their children to take part in this activity, as it will be a good learning experience to boost their confidence.
Since we have limited time for the competition, only registered children will be able to participate. So please register your children by clicking the link here. Registration will close on Sunday 16th August 2015.
If you have any query or need any further information, please contact [email protected] - attention Sneha Mehta.
Paryushan 2015 Committee is working extremely hard to help you do the Paryushan Aaradhana very well, which includes arranging child minding facility for your children at
Generally, it is extremely difficult to organise child carers during weekdays evening, especially when it is just for couple of hours. To help us assess the number of carers required, we need to ascertain the number of children requiring child minding facility.
Hence, The Paryushan 2015 Committee requests you to let us know how many of your children require child minding on which day by filling in the RSVP form.
Chaitya Paripatee means tradition of visiting multiple Derasar. It is one of the Kartavyas of Paryushan for every Jain. To fulfil this Kartavya, MSJS has organized Chaitya Paripati on Saturday – 19/09/2015 where in we would be visiting Shree Sumatinath Derasar, Suvidhinaatha GruhaJinalaya at Param and Ekta Shah's residence and a few number of Sadharmik home having Bhagwan Pratimaji . MSJS plans to organise mass transit to visit Derasar and Sadharmik's home on Saturday 19th September. Kindly confirm your participation filling in the RSVP form below. Email will be sent out with further details.
MSJS solely depends on support from community members by way of attendance, contributions, donations and sponsorship.
The following are the Nakras for this event:
To take Labh any of the above Nakra, please email [email protected]. Nakras will be given on first come first serve basis.
CITY OF YARRAMSJS and the Paryushan Event team would like to thank our major sponsor CITY OF YARRA for making Collingwood Town Hall available at a subsidised rate on 12th and 13th Of September 2015 for Kids Activity and Supan Uchhamani.
