With the eternal blessings of Dev, Guru and Dharma, MSJS is pleased to inform the Jain community across the globe that it has embarked upon the journey to achieve its own Centre - the MSJS Centre and Shikharbandhi Jinalay. This Centre will serve as a place where current and future generations of the community can find divinity and a guiding light on the path to righteousness.

MSJS Centre’s Objective:

  • To assist each soul in achieving the path of liberation by providing a dedicated place of worship
  • To perform rituals and celebrate auspicious Jain festivals and events of key importance
  • To spread the message of Jainism throughout Australia
  • To provide support to the increasing Jain population in Melbourne and to instil Jain principles for the coming generations

To see this project from the start through to its completion, many Sadharmik in the MSJS Community have committed to participate in સાકળા ઉપવાસ – a chain of fasting where every day from the start of the project (that is 17th August 2015) till its completion, a Sadharmik will observe fast according to Jain principles. It has crossed 2400 fasts so far. It is estimated that this chain will cross 3000+ fasts by the time the construction of the MSJS Centre and Shikharbandhi Jinalay is completed.

Centre Location:

The MSJS Centre and Shikharbandhi Jinalay will be located at:

124-126 Rowans Road Moorabbin
